The course has a total (net) study load of 100 hours. After completion of this course you should be able to: - give an overview of the successive steps in a publication process - make a difference between a professional and a scientific article - make a framework for an article - write an abstract of an article according to the guidelines of a specific journal - review written contributions of colleagues submitted to a journal - copy-edit written contributions of colleagues submitted to a journal - write an article (professional or scientific) according to the guidelines of a specific journal - use a internet-based open journaling system.

In 2013 enrolment to this course is limited to Ph.D. students (aio's) of the Research School SENSE (to a maximum of 10 students).
The course fee varies, according to your residential country, your nationality and the previous education completed, between € 284,= and € 341,= (for more information see www.ou.nl/kosten; only available in Dutch). An invoice will be included with the course materials.
