This course aims to help students to better understand the causes of global change in an integrated manner and at the same time to develop options for the governance of a transition to more sustainable development paths at the national and global levels. It will bring together insights from the modelling, integrated assessment, and sustainability science communities and from the social science, governance-oriented research communities. This course is primarily meant for PhD students from the social sciences.

We would like to inform you that for this course a selected number of people will be invited to participate. When you apply, you will be added to the list of potential participants. We will inform you within a few months about the selection procedure, and additional information that we may need from you to make the selection possible.
