Welcome to SENSE!

SENSE Research School is a joint venture for integrated environmental and sustainability research and multidisciplinary PhD training:

SENSE is a partnership involving nine Dutch universities and two institutes.

New SENSE A2 coordinator

We welcome new SENSE employee Katarzyna Negacz. She joined the SENSE network as the new coordinator for the A2 projects and she will co-organise the A1 course in fall 2020. Kate is an interdisciplinary researcher at the Environmental Policy Analysis Department at the IVM-VU. You can find her at the IVM-VU or contact her by email: k.e.negacz@vu.nl

SENSE PhD blog about super cyclone Amphan 

Uthpal is a Bangladeshi SENSE PhD candidate who currently stays in Khulna, Bangladesh. His research in the WaterApps project is on weather and climate information services, which helped local farmers prepare before the cyclone hit. All of the farmers involved in the project harvested in time and have minimal damages.
