The 5th Workshop of the Central European PhD Network on International Climate Policy will take place on October 11th and 12th, 2002 in Wageningen.
We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Workshop of the Central European Ph.D.
Network on International Climate Policy, which will take place on October 11th
and 12th, 2002 (Friday noon to Saturday afternoon) in Wageningen, the
Netherlands. The workshop will be hosted by the Environmental Economics and
Natural Resources Group of Wageningen University (for further information on
the location and the group, please visit
www.sls.wau.nl/enr/ ).
As in the previous workshops, PhD students are given the opportunity to
present their PhD theses or research ideas and bring them up for peer review
and discussion amongst fellow colleagues. Depending on the number of
participants who would like to give a presentation, there may be room for
other researchers to present and discuss their project ideas or (preliminary)
results. The presentation will take about one hour, including commentator and
discussion. The time per presentation may vary a bit with the number of
participants. Topics that were presented at earlier workshops were related to
general aspects of international climate policy, aspects of Kyoto Mechanisms,
linkages of climate policy with other regimes, companies and climate policy,
and many others.

selected according to a referee process, including an external referee.

- space is limited to around 45 participants,
- there is no workshop fee,
- travel and accommodation costs cannot be reimbursed.
