The training covers the most important aspects of interdisciplinary research cooperation. In particular, the training aims are:
You will understand the key requirements for interdisciplinary research;
You become aware of the differences among disciplines (natural sciences, social sciences, humanities) and can thus make realistic expectations towards cooperation across disciplinary boundaries;
You learn how to overcome common barriers to integration;
You know how to create an atmosphere of trust and respect;
You learn how to communicate effectively so that colleagues from other disciplines understand you;
You set up an Integration Implementation Plan;
You plan your project outcomes (scientific, application, education);
You learn how to organize excellent interdisciplinary publications.
The training is meant for participants of interdisciplinary projects, leaders of interdisciplinary projects, PhD students, research schools/graduate schools, and project teams.
