Meet & Greet Research Cluster XIII - Land use, spatial analysis & modelling / Ecosystem and Landscape Services

Location
Lumen building, Wageningen University. Droevendaalsesteeg 3, Wageningen
Date
May 28, 2010
Duration
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

To all PhD researchers, supervisors and fellow scientists with interest in the cross-cutting topic(s) of "Land use, spatial analysis & modelling / Ecosystem and Landscape Services" as well as friends from “neighbouring” Research Clusters IV and VI.

We would like to ask you to put Friday the 28th of May 2010 in your agendas. That will be the day on which we will have the opportunity to really get to know each other in person. This “Meet & Greet / Research Cluster launch" will take place at an interesting location – most likely with a continuously moving / changing landscape... We cannot tell you much more about it yet, except that it will last from the early afternoon to after dinner. In addition to several “ice-breaking” activities an interesting speaker will share his/her thoughts with us as well.

This get-together is also intended to find out from you what you would like the research cluster to be able to do for you. Perhaps you think a course on a specific topic is lacking or you believe that going on a “Dissertation-writing retraite” would be just the thing that you’d need for the successful completion of your PhD. On Friday the 28th of May you can let us know what you’d like!

You can register until 14 May by sending an email to:

Alexander van Oudenhoven (alexander.vanoudenhoven@wur.nl)

or

Katalin Petz (katalin.petz@wur.nl)
