The journal Environmental Science and Policy has published a special issue on ‘Socio-technical Experiments in Asia – A Driver for Sustainability Transition?'. The special issue is edited by Frans Berkhout, Geert Verbong, and Anna J. Wieczorek. The papers are available online via Science Direct: www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/14629011.
This special issue is second in a series of two special issues on the theme of sustainability transitions in Asia coordinated by the IHDP IT program. The first one on ‘Sustainability Transitions in Developing Asia: Are Alternative Development Pathways Likely?’ edited by Frans Berkhout, David Angel and Anna J. Wieczorek was released with Technological Forecasting and Social Change Journal (Volume 76, Issue 2, Feb. 2009) and is also available via Science Direct. Click HERE to go to this issue.
The editors hope both issues provide an interesting link between developing studies and system innovation approaches and move us forward in our theoretical and practical work for sustainability.
