The SENSE Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment is a joint venture of the environmental research institutes of ten Dutch universities.
SENSE organises courses for PhD students from both SENSE partners and outside of SENSE. SENSE PhD students will earn credits for their PhD requirements.
SENSE research focuses on both the natural sciences and socio-economic fields of environmental research. You can read descriptions of the research projects on this website.
SENSE organises meetings for its PhD students and researchers. Reports of our meetings, and announcements of the meetings are posted here and in our triweekly newsletter "SENSE e-News".
