Environmental Risk Assessment of Chemicals

Course contents
This course illustrates the various scientific approaches that underly the environmental risk assessment of chemicals. The course will use a recent book on risk assessment; each session, part of the book will be prepared and discussed by the participants. Lectures by experts in the field will highlight different aspects in more detail, while working classes will be used illustrate premises, models and quantitative methods for exposure and effect analysis (PNEC and PEC estimation).
