Course contents
In contemporary disciplinary research, the physical, environmental and socio-economic domains of land dynamics have been thoroughly but mostly separately investigated. However, there is growing recognition that the complex issues related to land dynamics and
development of sustainable systems, require interdisciplinary and multi-scale approaches. This approach forms the basis of this course, where a multidisciplinary perspective is taken that considers past, present and future land trajectories of land dynamics and development using the slopes of Mount Kenya as a case study.
