Mathematical modelling and computer simulations are widespread as tools for analysis or decision-making. Today's simulation tools make it easy to set up and simulate domain specific models. Yet, many researchers interested in domain specific applications are not systems scientists, and have the feeling that they could gain more from their models if they had somewhat enhanced skills in this area.
