Hydrological and Hydrogeological Field Methods

Contents

In this course hydrological field measurement techniques are presented and applied at the Selke field site. During 2 field days discharge measurements, tracer tests, measurements of hydraulic and chemical field parameters, slug tests, and point-dilution tests are conducted. During the third day, the collected data is processed and evaluated.

Didactic aim

Learn how field data is collected and analyzed, and how instruments, data loggers and specific software are used in the field.

PhD students from related fields of research, no prior knowledge required
