Discussion group Modelling and Simulation

Date: 17 April 2019
Time: 13:00 - 15:00
Location: Wageningen University

In many fields of research, modelling and simulation are critical tools. As their popularity has grown, so has the discourse surrounding why and how they should be used. To help inform this debate, we want to create a cross-institutional forum for discussing systems modelling and simulation, as well as the interpretation of simulation insights. Topics of interest include;

  • Problem conceptualization and decomposition.
  • Choices in modelling paradigms.
  • Simulation verification and validation.
  • Sensitivity analysis and experiment design.
  • Model-based decision support methods.

We welcome all modellers, regardless of experience or preferred modelling practice.

All WIMEK/SENSE PhD candidates are invited to join!
