Requirements to obtain a SENSE certificate

At the start of your PhD training, you need to fill out your online ITSP proposal which is accessible through your personal administration page. If you have not already done so, then you can apply for the necessary personal login by filling out the form at http://www.sense.nl/instructions.

The first and most basic requirement for your participation in the SENSE Research School is that you keep your personal administration page updated and that you fill out and submit your ITSP (Individual Training and Supervision Plan) along the instructions indicated below.

When you are satisfied with the content of your proposal, then you submit your ITSP plan. From that moment on the page will be 'locked' and only SENSE administrators can modify this page. Before this, the SENSE ITSP coordinator and your supervisor (promotor) will first scrutinize your proposal, and they will have to grant their approval first.

After approval of your ITSP, your ITSP will be unlocked, so you can adjust your ITSP continuously at your personal site. The administration of whether or not you have earned the separate credits will be done by the SENSE ITSP coordinator and course coordinators.

This ITSP page is only visible to you, your supervisors (promotors) and the SENSE administrators.
