ITSP Summary

For the SENSE certificate 30 ECTS (credits) are required. The table below shows a summary of the categories in which credits are possible and/or required (the separate elements and courses are clarified in more detail further below - details on separate courses may be found in the SENSE Course Guide at: http://www.sense.nl/courses), and the required parts.

Registration for a course should always be done by use of the online registration form in the SENSE Course Guide. In case registration is not possible through the SENSE website, the SENSE Course Guide provides an external link.

Most courses are concluded with an assessment of the PhD student's performance and with an evaluation of the course. Each participant who has completed a course successfully will receive a course certificate or notification, issued by the course coordinator.

After completing your ITSP, you can apply for your SENSE Certificate. To obtain this, please fill the SENSE Certificate application form at least 15 weeks before your PhD defense and send it to Serge Stalpers (serge.stalpers(at)wur.nl).
