Abstract:

The PhD study focuses on addressing the existing challenges and gaps in sludge management through innovative concepts and technological development. It focuses mainly on the concepts and technological development relevant for the decentralized management of sludge from onsite sanitation systems located in the densely populated areas such as slums and emergency settlements.
