Abstract:

In my dissertation project I will seek to engage in constructive conversation two streams of academic literature: global environmental governance and transition theory. The aim is to design more effective global governance interventions that are aligned with the specific transformation challenges of key socio-technical systems that require transformation in order to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement on climate change and other objectives of global environmental governance.
