Intelligent Energy - Europe is looking for staff

"Intelligent Energy - Europe" (EIE) is the European Community’s support programme for non-technological actions in the field of energy, specifically in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. The duration of the programme is from 2003-2006. The Agency is expected to start operations in Autumn 2004 and will be located in Brussels. There are a number of vacancies for this office detailed on http://europa.eu.int/, with deadlines for application on 15 and 30 Sept. 2004. The 13 posts for Project Officers may be particularly interesting for energy specialists with an academic background.

The Hydrology and Quantitative Water Management Group of the department of Environmental Sciences of Wageningen University has a PhD position available. The research concerns Hydrological modeling of climate change/variability impacts on water availability in large river basins. The aim is to improve our capacity to predict impacts of climate change/ variability on water availability. Applications have to be send in before 4 July 2004.
