Farewell symposium professor Grietje Zeeman (WU): Recovery and Reuse of Resources from source separated domestic wastewater

The farewell symposium entitled “Recovery and Reuse of Resources from source separated domestic wastewater”, on the occasion of the retirement of Professor Grietje Zeeman from Wageningen University, will take place on the 7th of October 2016.
Grietje Zeeman works at the Sub-department of Environmental Technology at Wageningen University and Research Centre since 1980 and will retire. This international symposium will be held on the occasion of her retirement from Wageningen University and to praise the work she has done within her field.

Arthur Mol, rector magnificus of Wageningen University, will open the event. The day will be moderated by Huub Rijnaarts and Cees Buisman, chairholders at the department of Environmental Technology. The main program consists of speakers with a variety of expertise and backgrounds:

Besides sharing the inspiring experiences of our speakers there is the possibility to present your own research through a poster. If you want to present a poster please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reserve a poster board for you. Additionally, please send us an abstract of the research that you want to present on the poster. Due to space restrictions the maximum number of posters is 36 (first come, first served).

Some practical information concerning the event:

  • Location: Hof van Wageningen - Hotel & Congrescentrum, Lawickse Allee 9, 6701 AN Wageningen
  • Start: 10:00 ; End: 17:00, followed by a reception (reception is not limited to symposium participants)
  • Participants symposium: maximum 150
  • Fee: € 75 (before August 1st € 60) including lunch and drinks
