Time: 14:00 - 17:00
Location: IVM / VU (rooms C-541 and C-543)

In less than a week now, we will be holding a workshop on Reducing Stress at Work/Improving your Mental Health.
We will discuss the causes of stress in academia and its consequences but also what we can do about it in an interactive and completely confidential setting.

We have already set-up a small questionnaire where we invite you to submit your thoughts on 7 questions: http://www.poll-maker.com/Q9BKZXB

We will discuss the results of this in the workshop (among others). If you cannot attend, this is also a great way to share your thoughts in an anonymous way.

Henk Heijerman, social worker at the VU, and Lidy Stassen from ‘ARBO’ will be participating to this session and sharing their knowledge on this topic.

Why should I come?

  • Learn about stress-related issues,
  • Identify current stress points and brainstorm possible solution (short-term and long-term),
  • Connect with other PhDs.

Needless to say, there will be coffee/cookies and it will be followed by a borrel!
