Climate Planet Utrecht: contribute to local sustainability policy

Date: 08 October 2018
Time: 13:00 - 15:00
Location: Utrecht

Contribute to local sustainability policy and make a difference in the city of Utrecht! Researchers and students are invited to share their knowledge and expertise on sustainable development with Utrecht city council members in an interactive session on Monday 8 October. The session will take place in the Climate Planet, a globe as tall as a six-story building on the Jaarbeursplein.

The aim of the interactive session is to improve the ways in which the city council is engaging with the Sustainable Development Goals and to further the status of Utrecht as a ‘Global Goals City’. The points of view and perspectives offered by researchers and students will give city council members potential solutions and inspiration for achieving the goals in Utrecht. The outcomes of the interactive discussion will also provide sustainability students and researchers with insights into the work of the city of Utrecht to implement the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.
